Brittney Anne Brown
First Grand-daughter
beautiful, amazing, vivacious.
When Brittney was born, I literally hit the ground.
I was in 3rd grade and so excited to finally have a NIECE!!!
As time progressed, we started realizing that there was something different about her.
Nothing bad; just different.
Autism.
And I believe that we are one of the most gifted family's that I know.
Because we get the joy of having such a gorgeous little girl grow up in our midst.
She has the ability to make anybody soften up.
Dad.
Sometimes I watch him with her, and Jodi...
and my heart absolutely melts.
Someone who has so hard of a time, talking to anybody else can find such solace in such beautiful little girls.

First Post of the Times

I am trying to get my family into blogging so that people can stay in touch with the families adventures, just not sure how easy it will be to get them all into the whole experience. Until than I will try to keep this updated as much as possible.

Mom and Dad are doing well and they will be celebrating their 40th wedding anniversary in a few days. The kids are going to put on an open house for them, but we are not sure when that will be(currently leaning towards spring time) so keep checking back as I will post that here. Dad is still struggling with keeping his feet healthy but has managed to avoid any major surgeries lately.

I spent Christmas in ND with my sister (Mili) and her family. It was a wonderful time and great to see the kids again. It is amazing how quickly they grow up and how much one misses when one isn't able to see them all the time.

Heather and her family are still living in Belgrade. Even with seeing them more often I still don't feel like I know the kids very well. It makes it tough to pick out presents for the kids when you don't really know what they like or even what the already have in the toy box.

I am Great Falls and enjoying my workaholic lifestyle. I won't bore you with many details because I am sure you have already visited my other blog and know all about my life and its adventures.

New Years was spent back home and most of the family was together. This was Jodi's 22nd anniversary of joining our family so we had a little celebration to commemorate the event. Jodi is doing well, actually she is quite spoiled. She gets weekly reflexology treatments and massages which helps with her muscle tone. You should hear how excited she gets when they show up at the house for her treatments.

Lisa is also in Great Falls and is doing well. She hasn't decided if she is going to go to an art college or just slog away in the trenches. If you have ever had a chance to see her artwork you would agree she has the knack! I am just amazed when I look at some of her pictures.
